 In response to the perversion of justice marked by the release of killer
 ex-cop Johannes Mehserle, the Los Angeles Coalition for Justice for Oscar
 Grant will join the family of Oscar Grant in an emergency townhall meeting
 4pm Saturday, 6.11.2011 at the Southern California Library 6120 s. Vermont
 Ave.

 8:30 Monday 6.13.2011, the morning of Mehserle’s release, his scheduled
 court appearance has been “vacated.”  In response, the Los Angeles Coalition
 for Justice for Oscar Grant will join the family of Oscar Grant in a
 demonstration in front of the Los Angeles headquarters of the U.S.
 Department of Justice at 300 n. Spring st. to demand from Attorney General
 Eric Holder federal charges of civil rights violations as he is prosecuting
 against terrorist police in New Orleans, Seattle, and Newark, NJ.

 The Los Angeles Coalition for Justice for Oscar Grant also announces its
 campaign to establish community control over the police in the form of an
 all-elected, all-civilian, police control board with full authority over the
 LAPD in all aspects at all levels.
